Vasuki Sunkavalli (Age 27) is an Indian lawyer who is currently representing India at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant.
On July 15, 2011, Vasuki was crowned the I Am She – Miss Universe India 2011 in Mumbai.
Usually I am not this hateful, but she looks bad in each and every picture of hers. She might be intelligent, confident etc. but in the end don’t forget its a ‘beauty’ contest. And I don’t find her beautiful by any angle.
I am not calling her ugly because she is dark. There have been many dark beauties from India like Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Freida Pinto etc. So its not about skin color. Her face is too manly looking to be called beautiful.

Thank you for this, there’s somebody that agrees. She is ugly and you’re right it has nothing to do with her skin color. I’m happy that there was a dark Miss India, but at the same time she should’ve been easy on the eyes. It’s not only an insult to India,but also all dark skinned females out there.Indian women are beautiful,India can do better. We brought home the crown 10 years ago.
this is a bit immature… everyone knows not every woman photographs well. In one of the photos, she looks like Maailika Arora. Granted, some of her photos may not be flattering, but her smile and figure are stunning– and until you talk to someone and get their whole persona, you can’t judge attractive-ness, generally.
She’s surely a lovely gal, just like all of you are.
